Pack 71 was chartered by Our Lady Of The Valley Catholic Church. Our Pack has continued in the mission of Cub Scouting, a year-round program designed for boys who are in first through fifth grade. Parents, leaders and organizations work together to achieve the following goals of Cub Scouting:

Influence the development of character and encourage spiritual growth;
Help boys develop habits and attitudes of good citizenship;
Encourage good sportsmanship and pride in growing strong in mind and body;
Improve understanding within the family;
Strengthen boys' ability to get along with other boys and respect other people;
Foster a sense of personal achievement by helping boys develop new interests and skills;
Show how to be helpful and do one's best;
Provide fun and exciting new things to do;
Prepare them to become Boy Scouts.

Pack Meetings are held the 3rd Thursday of each month at 6:30PM at Our Lady Of The Valley Catholic Church. Cub Scout and Webelos Dens meet 1-2 times a month, at a time convenient to the Den members.  Members include boys from Our Lady Of The Valley Catholic School, as well as from the surrounding area
