I feel blessed to be teaching for my twentyfirst year at OLV. I pray that God will continue to bless our school, its students, parents, and teachers. The kindergarten year sets the mold for many successful school years that follow. A guest speaker recently told our faculty that children's minds are like gelatin. We have to put the good things in before it sets. I hope to accomplish this and along with the academics, I hope to instill in my class a love for Jesus, a tolerance for others, responsibility, life long problem solving skills, and how to make good choices.

I want every child to leave kindergarten with the belief that they can do anything they set their hearts on.

“Listen to the MUSTN'TS, child.
Listen to the DON'TS
Listen to the SHOULDN'TS
Listen to the NEVER HAVES
Then listen close to me--
Anything can happen, child,
ANYTHING can be.”

Shel Silverstein
