The foreign language program at OLV emphasizes a foundation in the Spanish language.  The program aims to introduce students to a foreign language and allows them to succeed toward basic fluency in accordance with their capability.  In grades 1-5, students build vocabulary and beginning conversational skills.  In middle school, students in grades 6-8 further the development of their language skills.
