OLV Church offers youth basketball to boys and girls from kindergarten through 8th grades that attend school at Our Lady of the Valley or are registered for PSR classes at Our Lady of the Valley or other area parishes (St. Mark's, St Theresa, St. Thomas). Teams participate in the Catholic Toy Bowl League against teams from other Catholic parishes in the Birmingham area. The Basketball season for 4th- 8th grades runs December - February (10 weeks) and for kindergarten - 3rd grades January - February (8 weeks). Games will be played on both Saturdays and Sundays. Participants in 4th-8th grades will have an end of the season tournament the first week of March with the finals on the first Sunday of March.
