Toy Bowl Volleyball
OLV Church offers volleyball for girls and boys who attend school at the OLV School or are registered for PSR classes at Our Lady of the Valley, St. Mark's, or another area parish
OLV participates in the Birmingham Catholic Toy Bowl league in which teams compete with other Catholic parishes in the Birmingham area. The games will be held at OLV and at other parish gyms. Games at all levels have paid referees, score is kept and standings published on the toy bowl website. The OLV Volleyball Board believes that all children in our parish, that want to participate in volleyball at OLV, should have the opportunity, regardless of any family financial issues. Please contact Bill McCarthy to discuss Registration Fee options.
PRACTICE/GAMES: Practices begins in August. The Toy Bowl Volleyball Season runs from early September through October.
LEAGUE: Open to GIRLS and BOYS in 1st - 8th grades. 1st-2nd play in co-ed starters; 3rd-4th play in the co-ed Flea Division; 5th - 6th play in the co-ed Jr. Division; 7th - 8th play in co-ed Sr. Division.
- Girls and Boys in the 1st-8th grades may participate on OLV teams that compete in the Catholic Toy Bowl League against teams from other Catholic parishes in the Birmingham area.
